GTC

The General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to all consultations, events, registrations made and contracts concluded by Opening Doors (Gräbligasse 1, CH-8001 Zurich) and govern the rights and obligations between Opening Doors and the clients and participants of events. The GTC may be amended by Opening Doors at any time.

1. APPOINTMENTS:

Written appointments for Akashic Records consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of late rescheduling, cancellation or non-attendance of appointments, the client will be charged in full. The client has no right to compensation.
If in case of illness a timely rescheduling is not possible (e.g. illness during the night), the appointment can be rescheduled in exceptional cases if Opening Doors is notified at least 3 hours before the appointment.

2. ENERGETIC WORKT:

In Akashic Records consultations I work energetically and for this I must be in good physical and mental condition to be able to carry out my energy work professionally. If I am not in good shape or ill before an agreed appointment, I will inform the client accordingly and reschedule the appointment free of charge. In this case I will try to inform the client as early as possible, but at the latest 3 hours before the appointment.

3. EVENTS:

A) Registration/Conclusion of contract: The general terms and conditions and declaration of consent must be read through and accepted by the participant before registration in order for the registration to come into effect. After receipt of the registration, the participant will receive a confirmation of participation/invoice by email with the date, times, venue, costs and binding payment instructions. Each registration is binding and obliges the participant to pay the seminar costs, the prices are in Swiss francs. This constitutes a legally valid contract between Opening Doors and the participant. The registration is deemed to have been accepted by the participant when he/she has received the confirmation of participation/invoice sent by email. The participant is bound by the GTC when booking an Opening Doors event.
No guarantee is given for the correctness of the information disseminated by Opening Doors and Opening Doors guarantees neither the correctness nor the completeness of the information.

B) Terms of payment:
The payment conditions on the participation confirmation/invoice sent by email are binding. The participant's credit card details requested when registering for retreats serve only as security for the hotel costs, which the participant must pay directly to the hotel on site. Retreat fees will not be charged to the credit card and must be paid by the participant in due time. The fees for the deposit must always be paid by the participant.
For all events in Switzerland and abroad, the full invoice amount for the seminar costs is due upon receipt of the confirmation of participation and must be paid within 10 days, unless otherwise stated. If registration is received less than 10 days before the start of the event, payment must be received within 48 hours. Only after the event abroad has been definitively confirmed by email should the participant book his/her flight.
If the specified payment deadline is not met, Opening Doors may send the participant a written reminder directly by email. Opening Doors is entitled to charge a reminder fee of Fr. 10.- per reminder for the expenses incurred. If after the second reminder the payment amount is still outstanding, Opening Doors may initiate debt collection proceedings or hand over the collection of the outstanding debt to third parties, the additional costs of which shall be borne by the participant.

C) Cancellation & deregistration: Booked events are binding and can no longer be cancelled, postponed or refunded free of charge. There are no refunds for cancellations and there are also no refunds if the participant drops out early for any reason or does not attend the event.

Seminars Switzerland: In the event of illness, a medical certificate must be presented so that the participant can make up for the same seminar on another date and, if necessary, at another location. If there is a difference in price, this must be paid by the participant.

Retreats Switzerland & abroad: If the participant falls ill before a retreat or is unable to attend for other reasons, he/she must still pay in full for the hotel costs (accommodation, meals and visitor's tax, according to the costs listed on the homepage). In this case, the hotel may charge the full hotel costs to the participant by credit card or send an invoice. In consultation with the hotel, the participant may at most be waived the costs for catering.

D) Organisation & Implementation:
For organisational reasons, Opening Doors reserves the right to postpone or combine the events offered, to change the venue, prices, number of participants and general terms and conditions at any time and to make changes to the programme at short notice, e.g. due to force majeure or other reasons. In this case, participants will be informed in good time. In the event of changes to the prices and GTC, the version in force at the time of registration shall apply in each case, which cannot be changed unilaterally for the conclusion of the contract. Places on events are allocated in the order of registrations (subject to timely payment).
If an event is not held due to illness on the part of the organiser, if the minimum number of participants is not reached or if the holding of the event is made difficult or prohibited due to Corona, an alternative date will be sought for an event held once a year abroad and if this cannot be taken up by the participant, the amount already paid in will be refunded in full or the amount not yet paid in will lapse. If the cancelled event is held several times a year or on a regular basis, as is the case with the events in Switzerland, the participant can take part in a later event. In this case, there will be no refund of the seminar costs and any outstanding amounts must be paid in due time. If there is a price difference, the participant must settle it. Further claims of the participants, in particular claims for damages in case of changes, postponement or cancellation of an event are expressly excluded.

E) Third party providers: For retreats, Opening Doors disclaims any liability for services provided by third party providers (hotel, meals, massages, included transfers, excursions, etc.). If a participant damages or takes away Opening Doors or third-party rooms, furniture, and belongings, the participant is personally liable for the damages incurred and must pay for them in full.

F) Safety & Insurance: Participants are responsible for their own health safety. It is their responsibility to assess whether they would like to take precautionary vaccinations for a particular destination or whether they would like to take certain medicines such as malaria prophylaxis. It is also their responsibility to take out any insurance for illness, travel and cancellation. However, it is strongly recommended that you take out cancellation insurance in advance when attending a retreat.

4. WARRANTY & LIABILITY:

Opening Doors consultations and events are not a substitute for medical treatment, but are complementary to it. Opening Doors cannot guarantee that clients' and participants' problems and issues will be resolved through any counselling or event. The counselling sessions and events offered by Opening Doors support clients and participants in making the changes they desire, but each client and participant bears full responsibility for their own actions and lives. Opening Doors cannot be held liable if desired results are not achieved or if health deteriorates. With the exception of gross negligence and intentional acts, all liability claims, especially for accidents, bodily injury and theft of any kind, are excluded.

5. DATA PROTECTION:

The processing of personal data in connection with Opening Doors' services and events is governed by the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains Opening Doors' handling of personal data in connection with, among other things, Opening Doors' services and events and contains, in particular, information on what personal data is processed for, how it is disclosed and what rights data subjects have with regard to their personal data. The privacy policy is available online on the homepage.
By booking a service and registering for an event with Opening Doors, the client and participant accepts the processing of their personal data in accordance with the privacy policy. Opening Doors may send information and offers to clients and participants, e.g. in the form of e-mails and newsletters. By booking and registering, the client and participant agrees that corresponding messages may also be transmitted electronically. These messages can also be personalised in each case in order to only send the client or participant information that is likely to be of interest to them.
6. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE:

Should any provision of these GTC be invalid or incomplete, or should performance become impossible, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining parts. In such a case, the invalid provision shall be replaced by a permissible valid provision by which the intended purpose of the contract can be achieved in a legally permissible manner and which, according to its content, comes as close as possible to the original intention. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole.
7. LAW & PLACE OF JURISDICTION:

All business relations between Opening Doors and its clients and participants are governed by the laws of Switzerland. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich (Switzerland).
